Wormeline is the portfolio website created for Jana Anhalt Photography studio, designed to showcase artistic photography in a minimal and elegant environment. The website was built for the studio to present their unique artistic vision.

Create a visual portfolio that lets the images speak

Jana Anhalt Photography needed a portfolio website that presents artistic photography work in an elegant and minimal way. The challenge was to create an interface that would not compete with the images, but rather elevate them. The website needed to work both for large galleries and individual works.

Additionally, it was important that visitors could fully interact with the images — zoom in, browse the gallery and easily contact the studio.

— THE APPROACH

How we built the website

Research

We studied photography studio portfolio sites worldwide. We analyzed what makes the best ones visually compelling and usable.

Design

We crafted an elegant dark design where the black background elevates the photographs. Minimalism is a deliberate choice — the interface must not compete with the images.

Development

We built a custom gallery system on WordPress with AJAX filtering, optimized loading and full-screen viewing capabilities.

Launch

We set up the content management system, trained the studio to manage content and optimized performance. The site launched successfully.
