Scrap24
A person with scrap asks two things: what is the price and where to bring it. We built a site where the price list is a table in three languages and the yard is one click away.
A site that works like the yard.
A buying point, in-house cable recycling and a price list people trust.
Scrap24 buys scrap metal — cable, non-ferrous and ferrous — and granulates cable waste in its own facility, with separation reaching 99.9%. The website does the same thing the yard does: it takes the client in without ceremony. Industrial graphics, dark tones and the brand’s orange diagonals — the same language the signs and machines speak on site. The licence numbers sit right in the price list header, because in the metal trade trust is part of the price.
Price is the only question.
Metal prices move — the price list has to live without a developer.
Scrap prices follow the market, and clients compare buyers on price above all. So the price list is the heart of the site: three tabs — cable, ferrous and non-ferrous — each position with its code, photo and price per tonne, all managed by Scrap24 in the WordPress admin. The second requirement was language: a Tallinn scrap client speaks Estonian, Russian or English, so the site runs in three languages with even the URLs translated — /hinnad/, /prices/, /цены/.
Industrial tone, clear price list.

A price list as a table
Three tabs — cable, ferrous, non-ferrous. Every position has a code, a photo and a per-tonne price; the client updates prices in the admin.
-
Three languages, translated slugs
WPML with three language versions, URLs included: /hinnad/, /prices/ and /цены/ each speak their own language to search engines too.
-
A quote from any page
The orange “Get a quote” button stays in the header, the contact block with a form closes the homepage — phone and email are always one scroll away.
-
Production on screen
A video and the granulator block show that cable is not resold but processed on site — the argument behind a better price.
-
Brand graphics on diagonals
Orange ribbons, arrow buttons and 45° cuts between sections — an industrial identity without a single stock-photo cliché.
-
Mobile-first
A person with scrap is often already on the road: phone number, prices and the address open on the first mobile screen.
Technology
A stack the company runs itself — prices change in the admin, not through a developer.

Three languages, one system.
-
Structure
Five pages — home, prices, about, blog, contact — in three languages, the price list at the centre.
-
Design
A dark industrial tone, orange diagonals and real photos of metal instead of stock imagery.
-
Development
WordPress + WPML, a manageable price list, a quote form and a production video.
-
Launch
A pass over all three language versions, an SEO baseline and handover to the company.
The most important decision was the form of the price list: not a PDF and not “call and ask”, but a table with codes and per-tonne prices the company updates itself. The licence numbers and the validity date sit above the table — a price you can verify is a price you believe.

A scrap-buying site does not compete on beauty but on clarity: a person with a trailer of metal has to learn the price and the way to the yard within a minute.
