IRONDUST
A sports nutrition store whose weak spot was translations. We moved it to WPML — IRON DUST sells in three languages, and the team manages products and content from a single admin panel.

A shop that speaks the customer’s language.
A shop can be multilingual on paper — or for real.
IRON DUST is a sports nutrition and supplements store from Tartu: hundreds of products, a sprawling category tree and customers who speak different languages. On paper the site was multilingual, but the old translation setup barely worked: pages went missing, language switching broke, parts of the content stayed untranslated. Our job was to replace the foundation without stopping sales — move the shop to WPML and make all three languages run as one mechanism.
Translations that kept breaking.
Every update was a risk. Every translation — a lottery.
In WooCommerce, multilingual means far more than pages: products, variations, categories, attributes, cart, emails. The old setup tied these together poorly: updates knocked translations out of sync, buyers landed in languages they never chose, and the team was afraid to touch the shop. The store needed a move to a system that makes languages predictable — and a migration that loses no pages, rankings or sales.
One system, three languages.
-
Migration without losses
An audit of the old content, a translation map, a transfer to WPML — not a single page or product got lost on the way.
-
WPML + WooCommerce
Products, variations, categories and attributes are translated in one system — links between languages no longer snap.
-
Categories under control
The sprawling sports nutrition category tree is translated and linked across all three languages — navigation works the same everywhere.
-
SEO survived the move
Language URLs, hreflang and redirects set up so that search rankings didn’t suffer.
-
Buying in your own language
Cart, checkout and store emails in the buyer’s language from first click to receipt.
-
An admin the team can use
Add a product, translate when convenient. The shop doesn’t break — and no developer is needed for that.

Audit & mapping
What was translated, what was broken, what was missing — before the move we knew the fate of every page.
-
WPML architecture
Languages, URL structure and translation workflow — a system that carries hundreds of products and categories.
-
Migration on a live shop
Content, products and categories moved with zero downtime — the store kept selling through the whole switch.
-
SEO control & handover
hreflang, redirects and team training — the shop stayed in the company’s hands, not tied to ours.
The most important decision was not to rush: we moved language by language, checked search rankings after every step and kept the shop selling the whole time. The team received the new system along with the skills to run it in-house.

Every translation used to be a risk — now it’s just a button. The team adds products, opens new categories and grows the shop while the languages take care of themselves. That’s what a tool that doesn’t stand in the way of growth looks like.
